Hi. There has been an increase in crime within our community and I would like to know how does one begin a watch. Does the police department offer community watch training? Does such training exist? Do I contact the local police department or another branch of the government. Thanks so much for your help.

The ideal definition of dream will be “A succession of images, ideas, emotions and sensations occurring involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. “ I feel dream is another amazing power of the brain . It is said that even dogs, cats…Even babies get dreams isn’t it amazing !!! I get dreams every night, do they mean anything? No idea …But I do believe they bring up some hidden desires…Emotions from our heart ,many times fear . The weird thing is many times I have seen future in my dreams (some small events). I had tried to know meaning of this dreams and reason for seeing those. I love to read articles on dream interpretation and try to find meaning of my dreams . One interesting fact I came across my research is: Dreams were historically used for healing (as in the asclepieions found in the ancient Greek temples of Asclepius) as well as for guidance or divine inspiration.
Some Native American tribes used vision quests as a rite of passage, fasting and praying until an anticipated guiding dream was received, to be shared with the rest of the tribe upon their return. I find dream interpretation very interesting . I have just started exploring this field want to explore more and more .
I never knew dreams were due to stress. I am learning more facets of its interpretation, styles, meanings etc. Recent facts i discovered are:
- During REM sleep there is increased breathing and heart rate and involuntary muscle jerks. During Non REM sleep the person is relatively still.
- On average, you will have spent about six years dreaming during your lifetime.

What kind of community causes do you donate your time and/or money to and why?

I work for a non-profit agency that works with people of all ages and abilities. We are trying to raise money for a state of the art facility for a preschool, k-12 school, 4 adult day habilitation programs, children’s case management, developmental therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and a greenhouse work program for adults, as well as community gardens, and a handicap accessible playground for the community. To better our community by increasing the abilities of the most disabled people in our community so they contribute to the community (and have an income), and provide a play/picnic area for all families and children of all abilities.
I am wondering what people donate to and why. It seems that there are many programs (grants and private trusts) to assist in things like animal shelters, and parks and things like that that are not such a high priority need for most communities. So why support these programs over programs that assist our community on a larger scale. Everyone knows someone who is an alcoholic/drug abuser, developmentally disabled, physically disabled, abused, raped, or has children in public programming and or activities, so why do chose to donate elsewhere?
